Blackjack has been a casino favourite for generations and the Spanish 21 Gold variation provides a neat twist to the game, with players always winning on a hand of 21 and able to double down on any number of cards. The competition of playing against the dealer brings an element of tension and it is enjoyable to have a game that is about strategy as well as luck. The imagery is basic but classy and, although there are lots of rules to learn, it is actually very easy to play.

How to Play

You start the game at a casino table opposite the dealer, next to a range of chips. Just tap on a chip, valuing either 1, 5, 10 or 25, and then hit ‘Click to Place Bets’ to move your chips onto the table. The minimum bet is 1 and the maximum is 200, and there is an option to clear your bet if you change your mind over how much you wish to wager.

Press Deal to start the game, and you and the dealer will receive two cards each. The dealer’s second card will be face down, and you can then choose from various options as you try to score higher than the dealer without going over 21. You can Hit, Stand, Double, Surrender or, in some cases, Split, and once you have finished, the dealer will complete their go to see who wins.

After you have finished one round, you can rebet to put the same amount of chips onto the table and play again.
